Mental Health

We offer mental health assessments for clergy that provides insight into their emotional and cognitive functioning.  The evaluation will explore their mood, behavior, cognitive, socialization functioning, reasoning skills, memory, and others aspects to insure that they are stable to oversee the function of pastor or various leadership roles within the church. 

 

Immigration Hardship

We offer a comprehensive psychological evaluation that interprets from a psychosocial, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual perspective.  Our review explores the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the counselee to get at the extreme hardship and psychological distress they may experience if deported to their native country.  Our review explores but not limited to review of medical, personal and family history, as well as, social and spiritual aspects of the counselee.  We believe that our clinical approach provides an inclusive assessment and allows for exploration of any extreme hardship known or unknown by the counselee.  

 

Additionally, we recognize that each experience is difference and therefore we also utilize the descriptive narrative whereby invites the counselee to share their narrative from their lens and includes witness from family, community, and others that may also give insight of their life story and extreme hardship if deported.

 

The evaluation report will includes a clinical assessment of their current state that highlights personal, family, social, and other background information that may give insight to the relevance of their hardship and its impact on their mental status exam based on the provisions of the DSM-5 and other interpretive means. 

 

Premarital

The premarital evaluation is provided after a minimum of six sessions that explore various topics related to developing a strong understanding of marriage.  This assessment is based on marriage readiness and explores various topics.  Please see premarital counseling for more information.

 

Addiction

An addiction evaluation is designed to explore various forms of addiction such as sex, drugs, alcohol, and food.  This comprehensive assessment will interpret findings from a psychosocial, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual perspective based on the provisions of the DSM-5 and other interpretive means. 

 

Anger Management

Anger is explored in a psycho-educational or psychotherapy framework.  We offer a comprehensive assessment that interprets the findings inclusive of a psychosocial, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual perspective based on the provisions of the DSM-5 and other interpretive means. 

 

Employment

Our employment assessment is designed to explore insight into a person’s emotional and cognitive functioning.  The evaluation will explore their mood, behavior, cognitive, socialization functioning, reasoning skills, memory, and others aspects to insure that they are able to operate within a specific job function.
